Michelle and Jason’s wedding was so unique and fun!
4/20 was the wedding date, which is a funny date for a Colorado mountain wedding, and that was also Vail mountain’s closing weekend for skiing, so the guests were able to enjoy the mountain.
Funk is the couple’s last name and the hashtag they came up with was #LetsGetFunkingMarried

The details. The bouquets were made out of Harry Potter books!
Michelle Getting Ready with the girls at The Sebastian. The First Look. Michelle’s was STUNNING in her silver dress! Odin ( their dog) thought so too. Mountain Top Photos. One of the bridesmaid’s, Sam, couldn’t make it, so Michelle made a cardboard cutout of her, and all day referred to it as “Flat Sam.” lol The Ceremony….The ski arch was created by Jason’s brothers. So creative!
The officiants, Constance and Marty, are not only best friends with the couple, but they’re also previous Party Girl Events clients!
Marty surprised the couple by pronouncing them Husband and Wife with a Harry Potter wand! Brilliant idea.
Cocktail Hour and Reception details First Dance Food Stations are the best! The Dessert table was my favorite! Girlscout cookies were a genius idea! Speeches. Flat Sam did one haha. It was Michelle’s Dad’s birthday, so they surprised him with a cake. Parent Dances. Jason and his mom, Louise, danced to “Love you like a Rock,” and then she gave him a rock with a heart on it. So sweet! The rest of the reception was really fun!Kind Words from The Bride
Stephanie and her team did an amazing job helping with out slightly out of the box wedding. From keeping me on track planning to making sure the day went smoothly she really was a wedding fairy godmother. I could not be more grateful for how the day turned out and how she went above and beyond through the entire process!
