We love elopements! Especially when they are as cozy and intimate as Faith and Chad’s! The ceremony and reception were held at The Ruby Wood House, the same place all 10 guests stayed. I thought this was such a smart idea! The house is a picture perfect beautiful winter cabin. We barely had to decorate because it was already decked out!
The ceremony was held outside, and initially I was not 100% sold on the idea because it’s really cold and snowy in Breck. Then I saw the spectacular view from the patio and I was into it!
We kept everything pretty simple, but we had a fabulous photographer! Dani Cowan is talented, creative, and so much fun to work with!
The minimal winter details we had were on point! I loved faith’s flannel and Chad’s beanie, and the fact that it was snowing!
Petal and Bean created such a special bouquet for Faith. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was so big! I was really excited when I saw it!
The cake turned out pretty cute. It was a total accident. We ordered 2 small cakes from Whole Foods, but when we got them they were much larger than I expected! I had to go to the cake section of the craft store to pick up the right tools to stack and decorate the cake like I was a baker or something lol. I was proud of it when Dani asked me if the cake came from Sugar!
Black Diamond Gourmet catered a delicious dinner, and later in the evening everyone went ice skating!
